This sturdy piece of furniture was well loved by the client. Unfortunately the "knotty pine" style, as seen in the interior shot, had long passed her current decorating by. She wanted the piece to feel lighter, yet still give the effect of strength. We applied a soft, suede finish in the panels and complimented this with a lighter hue of bone white on the stiles, rails and body of the armoire. To ground the piece the pilasters and crown molding are painted with a faux alabaster marble.
